Today is my youngest son's 5th birthday. 5 years ago today, I was in labor forever and a day... but it ended with that wondrous moment of meeting our son. I can't believe that he's five.

I made treat bags for his class - there are only 8 of them total, so that was easy to do. The "big" gift in them is a slinky. Because R loves slinkys.

We'll open the relatives' presents today, but we'll save cake and our presents to him until Sunday. That's because Mac is gone to another tourney (tis the season...). R won't mind in the least. Because, well, because CAKE is CAKE no matter when!

I'm getting my hair cut this morning. I'm in the mood to either cut it all off or keep growing it. It's getting pretty long. Maybe I'll get bangs. Hmmm, decisions decisions. The appointment is in 3 hours, so I'd best decide soon.

I'm dreaming of summer lately. But the budget is loving the current weather. No need for heat, no need for air conditioning. Perfect budget weather. But I never know if I will need a coat or not in the morning. (I know - ha, from the northerners. I feel for you, really I do - especially with all that snow.)

I want new floors. Tile. Hardwood. Anything. As long as it's clean, new, and... oh, yeah. No money for floors right now. Hmmm. Okay, I want my floors cleaned.
I saw that Magic Eraser has mop heads now. I'll have to check my mop and see what kind of head it needs. Because that sounds like a great idea for my horrid kitchen floor.

I want to paint something. A wall. Furniture. ANYTHING. Maybe soon. But not today. Today is happy birthday to my little guy. Take a second and wish him a happy birthday in the comments!
(BTW, go wish Salome Ellen a happy birthday too!)

Oh, I HEAR you on the hideous kitchen floor. Let us know if the Magic Eraser mop heads do the job.
Do you find yourself worrying about what's in Magic Eraser that makes it work so well? La la la...

I try not to think about what's in it... and keep using it sparingly... but I am very tempted to get the mop heads. Nothing else has ever worked, that's for sure!
