It's Advent and we haven't even cracked The Advent Book open. Going to have to remember to get the book out. We love opening a picture door every day and reading more of the Christmas Story.

I just finished 3 straight days of subbing at a junior high. I am very tired.

We are getting rid of the teens for most of the weekend. Mac went to a tourney, and Nina is going to a youth retreat. It's just going to be me and K and R.

Did I mention that I am tired? And that I have a horrid headache. At first I thought it was from the kids, and from the lights at the school. Now I think it may be a migraine. My head hurts.

Plans for the weekend. Painting! I am so excited! There is so much to be done, but the thought of actually getting this done? Wow!

It is very cold here. Okay, maybe it's not VERY cold in an absolute sense. But this is the South. It's currently 35 and we're expecting a low of 23. That is COLD here. We even have the possibility of snow. Not as probable as some places in the South - who WILL be getting snow, but even the chance is fun.

It felt weird the first day of no posting, then I fell into a groove of not posting. Now I feel weird posting again. There must be something in between, somewhere. A happy average. But that's enough thought on that, so if you're interested in more Quick Takes Friday posts, go see here.
